Trolley Dash. Is BackMarketing Director Evans Muhanga has on Friday 7th December launched the second Trolley Dash in almost exactly a year after the first ever. The launching took place at the Lumley Beach Car Park in Freetown. Explaining the mechanics of the draw Evans said there would be 5 trolley dashes each week. This will give our customers the opportunity to dash for one minute and take anything they want from a supermarket every other Friday until 11th January 2008 when the promotion ends. Apart from the five trolley dashes 5 other customers will win a million leones each and on the day of the last trolley dash the lucky customers would have the great opportunity of dashing twice. Muhanga said to enter the draw, customers are required to top-up 150units. Multiple top-ups of 150units in a week will enhance customers chances of being selected electronically to take part in the dash or even win Le1 million. Those who buy a SIM for Le5000 and top-up with any denomination also qualify to take part. Reconnected SIMS can also take part once they top-up 150units. The first draw will be held on Friday 14th December 2007 and the first dash will be a week later. Last year, many customers benefited in the first ever trolley dashes that were held at Freetown’s renowned supermarkets. The dashes also benefited supermarket owners as millions of leones worth of goods were collected and paid for by Celtel. Last year there were no millionaires but creating millionaires is a strong feature in this year’s. Also this year, the last trolley dashers will do it twice.
