Moonlight tariff shines through... it’s now 1 unit per minute

Celtel is rocking the mobile telecommunication market in Sierra Leone in a line of straight fortnightly breaks and then the company hits the market with more products mixed with innovation all tailored toward making life better for our numerous customers. And now, almost six months to the Bomba Tariff launch date, Managing Director Ted Sauti Phiri has revealed to the public Celtel’s latest tariff reduction bonanza dubbed the Moonlight Tariff Plan. He proudly presented this reduced tariff offer at the Santano House on Monday 20th August 2007.

The Moonlight tariff plan gives subscribers the freedom to call for only 1unit per minute from 11pm to 6am. everyday plus 10 free on-net sms each month. Ted explained that the company’s focus has changed to overwhelmingly making Celtel’s network affordable to the general public. He said the Moonlight tariff is just fine for people in the limited disposable income bracket, making it the ideal offer to suit their lifestyle. The Managing Director revealed that his company has to date invested US$100million in Sierra Leone and our network coverage has reached 80 per cent of the country.

Marketing Director Bernard Sisay told his audience including our business partners and journalists that Celtel is offering something new every time for everybody and that matched with interrupted network coverage, lowest top-up denomination and this time, the Moonlight tariff plan.

This new tariff plan exists along side the Bomba tariff which is also billed fully per second and subscribers are charged for as low as 7units per minute.
