Hill station site commissioning

The Minister for Lands and Country Planning Dr Bobson Sesay officially commissioned the long awaited Celtel Cell Site at Hill Station on 10th March, 2006 at 11:00 am in the presence of Celtel Managing Director, several other Departmental Directors, members of the Diplomatic Corps, representatives of the corporate clients, the media and local community.

The Managing Director emphasized the importance of Hill Station site to Celtel as its in the midst of residential and business establishments of key decision makers in Sierra Leone. The Hill Station area hosts the American Embassy, European Union and IMATT among others.

The Minister pledged the government’s commitment to continue supporting Celtel in its ventures in Sierra Leone because Celtel has proved to be a serious development partner.
