Pujehun Launch

The Commercial Launch in Pujehun was on Friday 10th February 2006. This event was officially launched by the Minister of Information and Broadcasting Professor Septimus KaiKai at the Court Barray in Pujehun Township. The ceremony was well attended by residents of Pujehun and its surrounding towns and villages.

All the local speakers including the Paramount chief expressed the significance of the day and thanked Celtel for making Pujehun part of the global village; they also gave assurance that this facility would be utilized to its fullest.

Bernard Sisay Marketing Director thanked the people of Pujehun for a warm welcome and expressed Celtel’s commitment to Making Life Better for the people of Pujehun. He informed the people that Celtel will soon extend its network to other areas in the Southern Province and offer services like payphone, $1 top up cards, Friends and Family, Reduced International calls and other current promotions.

The Celtel Dealer in Pujehun was introduced and gifts were presented. The occasion was climaxed by comic relief by Local comedian Vamboi and cultural dance and performance by different cultural groups.
